CD Review: Title: If It Weren't For Venterian Blinds It Would Be Curtains For Us All Band Name: Piebald Track List: 1 Grace Kelly With Wings 2 We Believe In Karma 3 Mess With The Bulls 4 Dirty Harry And The Thunderbolts 5 You Won't Be Seeing Me Again 6 Rules For Mules 7 Giddy Like A Schoolgirl 8 All You Need Is Drums To Start A Dance Party 9 If Marcus Garvy Dies, Then Marcus Garvey Lives 10 Still We Let It Choke Us 11 Mount Pleasent 12 Location Is Everything 13 Fat And Skinny Asses Album Cover: Review: Ok this is where Piebald first struck gold. Each track is solid and each consits of subtle humor wich makes the band such a favorite(in the indie scene that is). Although one song is a great accoustic dramatic song, the album is full of head-bopping, fist raising, blood-pumping, loling, music. The opening track Grace Kelly With Wings is a huge Piebald fan favorite and should get anyone new to the band rockin in seconds. The follow up track We Believe In Karma is wonderfuly poppy but not being total trash like Justin Timberlake and keeps up the pace from where Grace Kelly left off. You Won't Be Seeing Me Again is that great accoustic song I was earlier talking about. Travis' odd voice sounds perfect and the guitar fits nicely with the lyrics. Giddy Like A Schoolgirl is a great song that would even go well at a dance party, wich is in fact the next song. It's great(Dance Party) if you want to start a dance going and the dance's band sucks. Tell em to move out and start hitten those drums. Mount Pleasant will be familer to the older generation as it's a Beatles song, and it doesn't sound all to bad with travis. Location Is Everything really puts the album in it's place and is followed up by a great album ender of Fat And Skinny Asses. rating: 9/10 Songs To Listen To: Grace Kelly With Wings You Won't Be Seeing Me Again All You Need Is Drums To Start A Dance Party Location is Everything Reccomended -Jesse

CD review: Title: Infiltrate-Destroy-Rebuild Band: CKY Track List: 1 Escape From Hellview 2 Flesh Into Gear 3 Sink Into The Underground 4 Attached At The Hip 5 Frentic Amnesic 6 Shock & Terror 7 Plastic Plan 8 Inhuman Creation Station 9 Sporadic Movement 10 Close Yet Far Album Cover: Review: This is CKY's 2nd offical CD, released by Island records. The CD is more dark than the first(CKY Volume 1) and uses a lot more guitar riffs and eletric zaps in the songs. Whats great about them, they sound metal, look metal, use metal chords and notes but for all that is good and holy...they don't scream! If anyone has watched Jackass then they've heard some of CKYs music and have must have heard the song Flesh Into Gear. The first song (Escape From Hellview) sounds much like a horror movie only in song format. With lyrics such as "And now I'm finding my friends, hanging from trees, made a bed of a barbed wire fence." and "I think something is out there waiting, antisapation has grown". But don't let the lyrics turn you off. There are other songs that are totally different from the CD starter. Songs like Sink Into The Underground, Attached At The Hip, Inhuman Creation Station and Close Yet Far are gems hidden withen the band's phanomisly popular songs: Flesh Into Gear, and Escape From Hellview. If you listen to one song on the whole album listen to Close Yet Far. It's a great track that seems as if it were dedicated to a close friend. Either that or that the band is loosing themselves with lyrics like "don't have a soul on my side, still with a cure despite how hard that I have tried", "close yet far, drop me a line and tell me how the hell you are, and I'll tip my hat to those who can't believe its me, though I never never ever wanted this to be". A great CD thats worth your 10 bucks. You might be dissopointed if you only know CKY from Jackass because in this, CKY began to create their personality wich was completed with their 3rd album An Answer Can Be Found. Rating: 8/10 Songs To Listen To: Close Yet Far Attached At The Hip Sink Into The Underground -Jesse
