New here but I figured I'd open up with my charrie to get right to play.
Name: Aguaspina(water thorn)
User: Biochemitra
Species: Chupacabra
Attitude: Neutral (predatory animal)
Height: roughly 6 feet
Lenght: 8 feet (horizontal saurian position)
Wingspan: 12 feet
Weight: 264 lbs
Description: A relatively normal looking female chupacabra, aguaspina is a man-sized biped resembling a bizarre mix of alien and reptile, Standing on 2 bent back legs with birdlike feet, allowing her to execute truely monstrous leaps. A pair of large, ribbed, mothlike wings extend from her 3 clawed arms. Her head is roughly oval and lizardlike in shape, dominated by both a pair of large, purple eyes as well as a wide, tooth filled maw. A set of fangs protrude from both her upper and lower jaws. Aguaspina's form is made all the more wicked by the row of long quill-like spines running from the top of her head to the base of her spine. Smaller quills run down her powerful tail, which aids her in moving through water and stabilizes her in flight. Aguaspina has thick, reptilian scales providing extreme body armor.
Abilities: Aguaspina's main habitat is any large body of water. Her lungs are adapted to allow her to breath underwater. However, she is capable of operating on land just as well, her ability to fly making her a triphibian. like any member of her species, aguaspina is capable of altering her pigmentation to blend into her environment. Her claws and fangs are more than capable of tearing through steel, as easily as through flesh. Her strength, while not that of a sasquatch, is nontheless substantially greater than most humans, allowing her to rip a door off it's hinges or flip a car.
For all her abilities, aguaspina is still delicate in form. A good blow to her wings may ground her (at least until it heals) And a good blow to the neck or abdomine may severely cripple her. If such happens, she will immidiately try to distract an enemy long enough to flee, either flying away or, if incapable of doing so, leaping into the trees.
History: Aguaspina was once a terror of Puerto Rico. She was first known when she invaded a farm and managed to bring down 2 bulls, each well over 3,000 lbs. Now on the island, she rarely ventures far from water and always returns to it when injured.
Aguaspina is a predator, aggressive towards her prey and attackers only. However, among her own kind or similar creatures she can be docile, even protective of them.
There. I tried to remain loyal to the chupacabra template while giving her a slight stat more reflective of actual reports of the goatsucker. I do hope I didn't go overboard with anything.
